Cultivating a digital garden within Logseq was easy for getting started however I started to feel limited in how I can express myself via it’s site generator.
Specifically, I was really wanting a way to personalize my garden further than simply exporting my current Logseq graph and theme verbatim.
I stumbled upon Quartz by accident and Obsidian is what kicked off my interest in using a PKMS. Being able to manage my garden, within Obsidian is already an enticing offer.
I have also grown weary of using Ghost CMS to manage my blog. Ghost is easy to use and host, but I have had to rely on it’s auto backup system to recover my content before and thats too close for comfort.
By using Obsidian to store my content in plain markdown, and checking it into multiple git repositories I have a high probability of having a backup of my data in the event of disaster.
So heres to Quartz + Obsidian 🥂
